China, a fast growing economy in the world, is gradually shifting from the low value products to high value added product and is making huge investment in research, development and innovations to make its presence felt in world economy. They prefer foreign investment in China to create manufacturing base under their own brand rather than encouraging the import said Mr. Amit Waikar, President of Indian Association of Shanghai while addressing at the program jointly organised by the VIA, Nagpur First and Butibori Industries Association. He said that China offers more conducive environment of doing business through well defined policies and procedure with least interference from policy makers. Indian entrepreneurs can exploit this opportunity as they are well placed in term of education and knowledge. At the outset Mr. Omprakash Bagdia, Chairman of the Economic and Finance Forum, said that such type of program bring the entrepreneurs of two countries more closer either Indian entrepreneur go to China or we invite them to India. Mr. Hemant Lodha, coordinator of the program introduced the guest speaker. Mr. Faiz Wahid from Nagpur First expressed its gratitude for such joint program. Mr. Ashit Sinha, Vice President of VIA while proposing vote of thanks express that India has plenty of qualified human resources and Vidarbha due to its logistic advantage will be a better investment destination for China and he urged upon Mr. Amit Waikar to take special efforts in this direction to bring the Chinese delegation to this region and persuade them for investment.
