Padmashri Dr. Vikas Mahatme, MP (Rajya Sabha) said we should make practice in our routine life and learn how to manage our Thoughts, Emotions, which convert into action, are our invisible strengths while delivering a talk on “How to manage invisible things which are more powerful” on 8th September 2016, at VIA. The talk was organized in the aegis of VIA Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) Forum.
World Health Organization has underlined 10 Life Skills that are important for quality of life. These include Self Awareness, Critical thinking, creative thinking, communication skills etc. Basically these are based on thinking skills. Institute of Science of Happiness started by Padmashri Awardee and noted Eye Specialist Dr. Vikas Mahatme with the purpose of spreading these life skills among younger generation. Our workshops focus on learning thinking skills. Also the presentation on Happy Meaningful Life is quite popular among people.
Earlier, Mr Atul Pande, President – VIA gave the welcome his address and also welcomed Dr. Vikas Mahatme with floral bouquet. Mr Hemant Lodha, Chairman, CSR Forum briefed about the activities of the Forum. Dr Vijay Phate, Convener, CSR Forum introduced the speaker and also conducted the proceedings. Ashit Sinha, Mentor of VIA Forums summed up the programme and proposed a vote of thanks.
