VIA in association with DGFT, Nagpur & EXIM Bank conducted a seminar on Global Economic Scenario & Emerging Opportunities on January 9, 2015 at VIA Auditorium. Mr. M. K. Nikhare, made a presentation on various promotional schemes under Foreign Trade Policy for the Exporters. Mr. Vikramaditya Ugra, spoke about the shift in patterns of India’s International Trade and Investment, highlighting opportunities for exporters in different export markets. Mr. Chavan, spoke on Export Documentation and various precautions exporters should take in international trade. Mr. Pawan delivered talk on understanding the business funding needs & role of bank (Rupee Credit & Bank Finance). Earlier, Mr O S Bagdia, Chairman – VIA Economic & Finance Forum made an introductory remark and highlighted the importance of such program for the business community, who are in the international trade. He said the share of Indian Trade in global economy is not very much, but it is increasing day by day with the opening of Indian economy. Mr Atul Pande, President – VIA said VIA have always been trying to provide new platforms and particularly keeping in target the small and medium entrepreneurs and more so young entrepreneurs. The success of any SMEs what we need is knowledge and exposure to various dimensions of business. International Trade is one of the very critical area and potential area where young entrepreneurs must really focus on. Mr Amit Raj, Chief Manager – EXIM Bank conducted the proceedings and briefed about seminar. The programme got tremendous response and attended by the exporters, importers and potential exporters of the region.
