All EVES EXPO ‘UDYOJIKA’ OFF TO A GLITTERING START
The much awaited Annual all eves expo ‘UDUOJIKA’ organized by the Women Entrepreneur wing of Vidarbha Industries Association took of to a great start today. The exhibition on the 19th year since its inception, was inaugurated by Mrs Vijaya Rahatkar , President BJP Mahila Morcha in a glittering ceremony at the Kusumtai Wankhede Hall in the presence of several industrial, political and social luminaries of Nagpur.
The exhibition organized in association with Bar. Sheshrao Wankhede Trust with the aim of promoting Entrepreneurship among women was graced by Smt Kundatai Vijeyekar who is the patron , former Mayopr of Nagpur Smt Archana Dehankar, Smt Kirtida Ajmera, Corporator Smt Neelima Bawne, Shri Atul Pande President VIA, Shri Praful Doshi Immediate Past President VIA, Shri Suresh Agrawal Past President co-ordinator LEW, Shri Rohit Agrawal Secretary VIA , Mrs Vandana Sharma President LEW, Smt Shachi Malik Secretary LEW and all the Advisory and members of LEW.
In her welcome address, Vandana Sharma Chairperson of LEW explained the role of ‘Udyojika’ in making the entrepreneurial dreams of many women come true, who dared to venture out of their house for financial independence and make a place for themselves. She thanked Bar. Sheshrao Wankhede trust in helping VIA LEW to promote women entrepreneurship and also the other members of VIA who whole heartedly supported and extended their guidance to LEW for successful holding of exhibition for the past 19 years.
Mrs Vijaya Rahatkar was grace personified on the stage when she congratulated LEW team members for the wonderful opportunity they were extending to women entrepreneurs in fulfilling their dreams. As a part of the skill development program of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi , Smt Rahatkar extended her full support and co-operation to women entrepreneurship. She said that Nagpur is lucky to have the CM of Maharashtra from the city and also lucky to have Union Transport Minister from Nagpur and under their Leadership Vidarbha stood a great chance to boost entrepreneurship in the area. She said that she was happy to see entrepreneurship development pan India and said that her government has made their mission to make the country self sufficient.
Smt Kundatai Vijaykar also congratulated VIA LEW team for their consistency year after year in holding ‘Udyojika’ so successfully . She further extended the co-operation of Bar Sheshrao Wankhede Trust by offering additional space of the first floor of Kusumtai wankhede hallfor holding the exhibition in future, so that more women can participate in ‘Udyojika’.
Shri Suresh Agrawal , Past President Co-ordinator LEW, spoke a few words on the journey of ‘Udyojika’ on how from a small idea to promote women entrepreneurship has resulted in a big and organized exhibition which has seen the emergence of women in various fields of Entrepreneurship. He also informed about the new LEW branch opened at Chandrapur and also the prospective branches to be opened at Amravati and Akola. He also said that LEW is planning to hold a similar exhibition in these cities in near future.
Shri Atul Pande President VIA also extended his warm wishes to VIA LEW team for their relentless pursuit of excellence year after year.
At the outset the guests were welcome by LEW Chairperson Vandana Sharma, Shachi Malik , Madhubala Singh and Anita Rao.
During the inauguration, a Souvenir based on the theme ‘the journey of Udyojika’ was released by the Chief Guest Smt Vijaya Rahatkar which showcased the journey of ‘Udyojika’ since its inception.
Mrs Vandana Sharma also informed about the Digital Marketing portal which has been created to include the list of stall holders with detail of their products so that the process of sale continues 24 x 7 , 365 days which will give an additional boost to the ‘Udyojika’ participants even after the exhibition gets over.
The program was conducted by Shikha Khare and Poonam Lala and those present includes Anjali Gupta, Y.Ramani, Neelam Bowade, Chitra Parate, Fehmida Haider, Manisha Bawankar, Reeta Lanjewar, Indu Kshirsagar, Mitali Rafiq, Rashmi Kulkarni, Alka Ambagade.
A huge contingent of Media persons was present to cover the event. All staff of VIA were seen working hard for the success of the exhibition.
