Shri Gajendra Bharati, General Manager – DIC addressed industrialists of the region over the recent policy changes of the Government of India for MSME program organized by VIA Economy & Finance Forum on 22nd February, 2017 at VIA.
Shri Bharati, informed about the Launching a comprehensive Data Bank by Govt of India which has been now made mandatory for all the MSME units. It has to be furnished the information on line. The Data bank will eventually be used for public procurement purposes & other benefit by PSU & other Government agencies. The Data Bank will be one stop source of information of MSMEs of India including their credit and technology and requirements in term of raw material and marketing. These Data will be also be extended to provide grant & subsidy to MSMEs. Information given in the databank is of routine nature and no confidential information is required by the data bank, hence it will retain the confidentiality of the business. He urged all the units to provide the information on the website of the data bank.
He further explained about the MAITRI, which is single-window system to faciliciate easy trade and grievances removal.
Simplified procedure for obtaining industrial registration by filing Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum online. Now the units are not required to obtain provisional registration for setting of units, they can directly obtain Udyog Aadhar memorandum after they have gone for production. No Department will insist for provisional SSI registration for issue of consent NOCs like MPCB, Power, etc.
The application under Package Scheme of Incentives 2013 has also be digitalized an entrepreneur need not to make any physical applications for Stamp Duty Exemption, Eligibility Certificate and claiming subsidy under the scheme. Approvals will be given to units online.
Earlier, the O S Bagdia, Vice President – VIA, gave his welcome address and said comprehensive Data Bank by Govt of India, eventually be used for public procurement purposes by PSU. The Data Bank is one stop source of information of MSMEs of India including their credit and technology and requirements in term of raw material and marketing. Suhas Buddhe, Hon. Secretary – VIA welcomed the Gajendra Bharati with floral bouquet. CA Naresh Jakhotia, Jt Secretary – VIA, conducted the proceedings and proposed a vote of thanks.
